Company-wide certification extends Eunoia’s accessibility standard to passengers with non-visible disabilities
Eunoia Mobility, the Dubai-based accessible transportation provider, today announced that it has joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program after completing the required training for every Mobility Champion across its operation in August 2026.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally recognized symbol worn by people with non-visible disabilities to discreetly signal that they may need additional support, understanding, or a little more time (Hidden Disabilities Sunflower UAE). Conditions such as autism, chronic pain, anxiety, epilepsy, hearing loss, and cognitive differences are not always apparent, and passengers living with them often navigate transportation without the accommodations they need.
Through the Sunflower training, Eunoia’s drivers and aides—known as Mobility Champions—learned to recognize the Sunflower lanyard, respond with patience and discretion, and adjust communication, pacing, and support to each passenger’s needs.
Because the training was completed by the entire team rather than a designated group, a passenger wearing the Sunflower receives the same informed response on any Eunoia journey, whether it is a school run, a clinic visit, a transfer during recovery from a medical procedure, or a cultural outing.
“At Eunoia Mobility, inclusion belongs to everyone—because every interaction, decision and handoff can shape how someone experiences their journey,” said Mohamed Abuelgasim Mohamedein, Co-Founder & CEO of Eunoia Mobility.”

The Sunflower membership builds on Eunoia’s existing accessibility commitments, including a wheelchair-accessible fleet, GPS tracking, AI-powered safety cameras, and a dispatch platform that keeps drivers, caregivers, and families connected in real time. It also reinforces the company’s alignment with UAE Vision 2031 and the National Policy for Empowering People of Determination.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower originated in the United Kingdom and has grown into an international symbol for non-visible disabilities. The Sunflower program allows individuals to voluntarily wear a lanyard or badge featuring the distinctive sunflower design, signaling to staff and the public that they may need additional support, patience, or understanding.
In the Middle East, the program is exclusively represented by Topland ME, with Sunflower products manufactured in collaboration with Zayed Higher Organization, employing People of Determination in the UAE.
