The Safety & Trust Officer serves as the guardian of operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and passenger protection at Eunoia Accessible Transport. This role ensures that all activities, systems, and personnel adhere to UAE transport, healthcare, and data protection regulations, while actively promoting a culture of safety, trust, and continuous accountability across the organization.As the ethical and legal compass of the company, the Safety & Trust Officer is expected to proactively manage risks, ensure field and administrative compliance, and oversee protocols that uphold the dignity, security, and rights of the communities we serve.Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
Monitor and enforce adherence to UAE regulations issued by:RTA (Roads & Transport Authority)MOHAP / DHA (Ministry of Health & Prevention / Dubai Health Authority)PDPL (UAE Personal Data Protection Law)Federal Law No. 29 (Rights of People of Determination)Maintain updated compliance checklists, documentation logs, and audit records for all relevant departments (transport, training, HR, and client services).Coordinate with authorities on licensing renewals, inspections, audits, and reporting obligations.Track safety incidents, analyze trends, and ensure timely corrective actions.Field Safety Monitoring
Conduct regular field audits, including surprise inspections, ride-alongs, and vehicle reviewsObserve and report on driver and care companion performance in relation to safety protocols, customer handling, and dignity-based service deliveryEnsure all equipment (wheelchair lifts, securements, PPE) meets approved standards and is in use according to trainingOversee investigation and resolution of incidents, accidents, and passenger complaintsInternal Policies & Training Enforcement
Work with HR and Training to ensure staff complete mandatory certifications (e.g., CPR, PASS, Securement, De-escalation, Data Privacy)Ensure all onboarding and continuing education is aligned with UAE legal requirements and best practicesSupport policy revisions and circulate safety alerts and compliance updates across the companyProvide guidance on ethical service delivery and escalate breaches of professional conductTrust & Risk Mitigation
Champion privacy, anti-discrimination, and duty-of-care policies in all rider and employee interactionsServe as the primary point of contact for escalated compliance issues or complaints from clients, regulators, or internal staffMaintain transparent incident tracking logs and lead monthly safety & trust performance reviewsBuild cross-functional relationships with QA, HR, Legal, and Operations for risk awareness and shared accountabilityQualifications
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in regulatory compliance, safety oversight, or operational risk management (transport, healthcare, or social services sector preferred)Strong working knowledge of UAE labor law, PDPL, RTA regulations, and MOHAP/DHA protocolsDemonstrated experience in audits, incident investigations, and regulatory reportingBachelor’s degree in Law, Healthcare Administration, Safety Management, or related field (compliance certifications a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency preferredStrong analytical, decision-making, and diplomacy skillsRequired Certifications or Knowledge Areas
